💠 Method:
  • Put the tamarind, hibiscus, water and sugar in a stainless steel pot, and stir the ingredients well until the sugar dissolves.
  • Place the pot on medium heat, and let it boil gently for five minutes.

  • 1/4 cup of coconut nectar or you can use maple syrup.
  • 6 cups of lukewarm water.
  • 1 box of fresh tamarind pods (about 2 to 3 cups of tamarind paste).

  • Remove the brown tamarind tops by hand and remove the stem from the pulp.
  • Place the tamarind pulp in a deep heatproof bowl and pour warm water over the tamarind and leave it to soak for 10 to 15 minutes until the tamarind softens.
  • Pour the tamarind soak into the blender jug ​​and add the ginger to it, then turn on the blender until the ingredients are ground and the juice is formed.
  • Leave the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes until the seeds settle at the bottom of the blender.
  • Place a cloth over a bowl, then pour the tamarind juice over it and filter the juice.
  • Sweeten the juice with coconut nectar and vanilla, then pour the juice into serving glasses, add ice cubes to it and serve cold.
