Oatmeal and Walnut Biscuit


đź’ Ingredients:
  • 200 grams of flour.
  • 50 grams of oats.
  • 100 grams of each:
  • roasted and ground walnuts.
  • Powdered sugar.
  • 120 grams of butter.
  • An egg.
  • Egg yolk.
  • 1 teaspoon of each:
  • Baking powder.
  • Vanilla.
  • A quarter teaspoon of each:
  • Sodium carbonate.
  • Salt.
  • 2 teaspoons of coffee, liquid.
  • Oats or fine sugar to decorate the biscuit.
đź’ Preparation:
  • Put the flour, oats, baking powder, soda and salt in the blender and mix the ingredients well to combine.
  • Put the butter and fine sugar in a deep bowl and beat them with a hand whisk until you get a creamy texture.
  • Add the egg yolk with the whole egg and vanilla while continuing to beat, then add the walnuts while continuing to beat.
  • Add the dry ingredients and coffee and mix lightly.
  • Take an amount of dough the size of a small ball and dip it in oats or powdered sugar, then roll it and form it into a ball at the same time, then place it in a tray lined with butter paper.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, and put it in the oven for fifteen minutes, and leave it to cool completely before removing it because it is soft and brittle.

Oatmeal and Rosewater biscuit


đź’ Ingredients:
  • 250 grams of flour.
  • 50 grams of toasted oats.
  • 1 teaspoon of each:
  • Baking powder.
  • Vanilla.
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  • 130 grams of soft butter.
  • 80 grams of sugar.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 60 grams of ground pistachios.
  • 1/4 cup of rose water.
đź’ Preparation:
  • Put the flour, oats, baking powder and salt in a bowl and stir the ingredients to combine.
  • Put the butter in a bowl, add the sugar and turn on the whisk to get a creamy texture, then add the egg and vanilla and continue whisking.
  • Add the pistachios and whisk them a little to extract their flavor, then add the rose water.
  • Slow down the whisk speed and add the dry ingredients and mix without overdoing it.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Divide the dough into two parts and place them on an oiled surface, then shape them into a cylinder, place them in the tray, leaving a space between the two pieces, and put them directly in the oven for thirty minutes, then take them out and leave them to cool completely.
  • Cut each piece into slices or circles, then place them in the tray and return them to the oven to continue baking for twenty-five minutes until they are slightly stiff, and leave them to cool.

Oatmeal Raisin biscuit


đź’ Ingredients:
  • A cup of raisins.
  • A third of a cup of water.
  • Half a cup of vegetable shortening.
  • An egg.
  • A cup and a half of brown sugar.
  • A teaspoon and a half of vanilla.
  • Two cups of flour.
  • A cup and a quarter of cooking oats.
  • Two tablespoons of baking soda.
  • Three quarters of a teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
  • A teaspoon of salt.
đź’ Preparation:
  • Preheat the oven to 140 degrees Celsius.
  • Put half a cup of raisins and water in a blender and turn it on high speed until the mixture becomes very smooth.
  • Put the mashed raisins in a large bowl and add the vegetable shortening, eggs, brown sugar and vanilla and mix the ingredients with a whisk until the mixture becomes homogeneous.
  • Place the flour in another bowl and add the oats, cinnamon and salt, then pour the dry mixture over the wet mixture and mix them together well, then add the remaining amount of raisins.
  • Form the dough into balls, place the balls on an ungreased baking tray and flatten the balls to become like biscuit circles.
  • Put the biscuit tray in the oven for twenty minutes.
  • Store the biscuits in a tightly sealed container.
