Masoub

Masoub is considered a popular sweets, which is famous for some Arab Gulf countries, such as Saudi Arabia and Yemen.Masoub is served as a special dessert dish in the holy month of Ramadan, as it contains cream, brown flour and honey in its ingredients, which makes it rich in nutrients.

The method of preparation is characterized by speed and ease, and the demand for it is increasing in the winter season, as it provides the body with warmth and energy, because it contains a high percentage of calories.

There are also many types of Masoub, including Masoub with cream, Masoub with dates, Masoub with Bananas, and others.

Masoub with bananas

💠Ingredients for the dough:
🔹One cup of brown flour.
🔹A cup of liquid (warm) milk.
🔹Half a teaspoon of baking yeast.
🔹One teaspoon of vanilla powder.
🔹A quarter of a teaspoon of sugar.

💠Masoub ingredients
🔹Three bananas.
🔹Half a cup of cream.
🔹A quarter cup of natural bee honey.
🔹A quarter cup of butter.
🔹A quarter cup of sweet cheese.

💠Preparation:

🔹Sift the brown flour, then put it in a deep bowl, add the vanilla and stir well.

🔹Bring another bowl and put the yeast, warm milk, and sugar in it, then mix the ingredients well and leave for a few minutes.

🔹Add the brown flour to the bowl containing the liquid ingredients gradually until you form a dough.

🔹Leave the dough to rest for approximately sixty minutes, then cut it into several medium-sized pieces.

🔹Get a non-stick frying pan, add a small amount of vegetable oil to it, and put it on medium heat until it gets hot.

🔹After the pan heats up, spread a piece of dough in it, then leave it to ripen and become golden in color, then turn it over and brown it on the other side, and follow this method with the rest of the remaining pieces of dough.

🔹Cut the dough into slices.

🔹Peel the bananas and cut them into medium-sized pieces, then mix them with the ripe dough pieces using a kibbeh grinding machine.

🔹Add half the amount of honey to the mixture, and half the amount of cream and mix them well.

🔹Bring the serving dishes and put the Masoub mixture in it, then decorate it with grated cheese and cream, then add the remaining amount of honey and serve.


Masoub with brown bread


💠Ingredients:
🔹A loaf of Arabian brown bread. Two bananas.
🔹Three tablespoons of cream.
🔹A tablespoon of bee honey.

💠Preparation:

🔹Mash the bananas well with a fork.

🔹Add honey and cream to the banana puree, then mix the mixture well.

🔹Cut the brown bread into small pieces, like crumbs, then add it to the previous mixture and stir well.

🔹Bring plates or cups for serving, then put the masoub inside it, decorate by adding a small amount of honey, and finally serve it.
