Minced meat


Minced meat is used in most of the main meals, whether traditional or international, and among the meats, minced meat occupies a special place. For its flexibility in preparing various types of dishes, whether the main meals or appetizers, and the following are some of the recipes in which we use minced meat.

Moussaka with minced meat


💠 Ingredients

🔹three large eggplants.

💠Minced meat mixture:

🔹Half a kilo of finely chopped meat.

🔹Three tablespoons of corn oil.

🔹A large onion, finely chopped.

🔹Four cloves of crushed garlic.

🔹Four tomatoes, peeled and chopped.

🔹Two tablespoons of tomato paste

🔹A tablespoon of salt.

🔹A quarter of a teaspoon of black pepper.

🔹A teaspoon of mixed spices.

🔹Medium sweet green pepper, chopped into cubes.

🔹Medium sweet red pepper, chopped into cubes.

🔹Medium sweet yellow pepper, chopped into cubes.

🔹Two cups of water

🔹corn oil; to fry the eggplant.

💠Rice Preparation

💠Ingredients:

🔹A cup of soaked rice.

🔹corn oil.

🔹one and a half cups of water. 

🔹A quarter of a teaspoon of black pepper. 

🔹A teaspoon of salt. 

🔹Fried pine nuts for garnish. 


💠Preparation

🔹preheat the oven to 180°C, and bring a large oven dish. 

🔹Peel three black eggplants and cut them into medium-sized cubes. 

🔹Bring a deep frying pan and put enough corn oil in it and put it on a high heat until the oil heats up well.

🔹Fry the eggplant cubes and leave them for a few minutes, until they are golden in color, then remove them well from the oil and place them on the blotting paper to get rid of excess oil, then put half an amount of fried eggplant cubes in the oven dish. 

🔹Peel the onion and chop them finely, mash the garlic, bring two cups of water, peel the tomatoes and chop them into cubes, and chop the red, green, and yellow peppers into cubes.

🔹Bring a large frying pan, add a small amount of corn oil, and add the finely minced meat over a medium heat. 

🔹Keep stirring the meat until it changes color, then add the chopped onions, stirring, until the onions soften.

🔹Add the mashed garlic, tomato cubes, tomato yogurt, salt, black pepper, mixed spices, green, red and yellow pepper cubes, in addition to the pepper pods. 

🔹Stir the ingredients together until they are homogeneous, then add two cups of boiling water and leave it for ten minutes over a low heat until cooked.

🔹Add half the amount of meat with the ingredients over the eggplant cubes, then add the other half of the meat, then cover the oven dish with aluminum foil, then put it in the oven for twenty minutes.

🔹Remove the aluminum foil from it after twenty minutes, then return it to the oven again, and leave it for ten minutes, until the surface is slightly browned, then remove it from the oven. 

🔹Fry the pine nuts and almonds to decorate the moussaka dish. 

💠Prepare rice:

🔹Wash the rice after soaking it for half an hour, then bring a pot and put a little corn oil in it, then add the vermicelli. 

🔹Stir the vermicelli until it turns golden, then add the water until the water boils, then add salt and black pepper.

🔹Add the soaked rice, so that the   rice will be immersed in the water, as high as the first knot of the pinky, over a medium heat, then reduce the fire on the pot until the rice is cooked.
