Cappuccino
Cappuccino is a type of coffee, and this word means a small cup, and cappuccino is characterized by the delicious foam on the surface of the cup. It consists of milk, instant coffee, sugar, and water.
The Italians were the first to prepare this drink and became famous for it, just as they were famous for pasta and pizza, and we often drink this drink in restaurants and cafes. In this article, away from the world of restaurants and cafes, we present how to make cappuccino at home.
Homemade cappuccino
đź’ Ingredients:
- A cup of instant coffee.
- A cup of sugar, preferably ground to ensure it dissolves when mixed.
- A cup of water.
- A cup of milk.
đź’ Preparation:
- Put the water, instant coffee, and sugar in a deep bowl, and mix the ingredients with a blender until the solution turns into a heavy mixture similar to cream, where if the bowl is turned upside down, the ingredients will not fall out of it, and thus you have reached the goal.
- Place the mixture in a plastic container and make sure to close the container tightly, put the container in the refrigerator for an hour before use, and you can then put it in the freezer for the next time.
- Put the milk in a pot on the fire until it boils, then mix the milk with an electric (or manual) egg beater, to introduce air into the milk and form the white foam that will be placed with the brown foam that you made earlier.
- Take the closed container out of the refrigerator, prepare the cups for serving, then put a spoonful of the whipped material in the container, (this material will be separate as two layers if you put it in the freezer but not coherent.
- Try to take a spoon vertically to take from the light layer and the dark layer.
- Put the milk on top of the whipped material slowly, then add the milk foam to make a shape with white and brown foam, and if you want, you can use burnt sugar (from a box of caramel cream) and draw its shape with sugar.
- Enjoy your homemade cappuccino cup.
- It is worth noting that these ingredients will make you a large amount of foam, as for the milk, it is the amount you want to serve, and the remaining foam is saved for use at other times. Also, the cups used to measure the quantities can be changed freely or doubled or half, with the necessity of maintaining the quantities of instant coffee, water and sugar equal.
