Espresso
Espresso is one of the heaviest and richest types of coffee in caffeine. It is a concentrated Italian drink, characterized by its dark color. Espresso coffee consists of ground (original) coffee, which are often absent from new types of instant coffee. It is served in a small cup with a saucer like Turkish coffee, but these cups are usually thick and mostly white in color.
Because espresso coffee is heavier than other types of coffee, try asking the waiter in the morning while you are feeling sleepy about the strongest type of coffee and the richest in caffeine. His first advice will be espresso coffee; it contains a high amount of dissolved materials, delicious creamy foam, and most importantly, double the amount of caffeine. Many drinks consist of espresso coffee, such as café latte, mocha, American coffee, coffee, black coffee, French latte, and Italian cappuccino.
The concentration of espresso coffee in a typical cup (60 ml) is 80 - 150 ml/L caffeine, while the larger cup (240 ml) has 95 - 200 ml/L caffeine, which is a high concentration. Double espresso coffee is served in large cups to increase the concentration, and is called (Double Espresso). To increase the concentration, some people drink it without sugar and without dilution, and it is usually served with sugar separately, and some like to add almond flavor to it, or other coffee flavors.
There are two types or forms of espresso coffee: the first is ristretto espresso, in which the coffee is ground, finely ground, and strongly pressed. The second form is lighter, called espresso lungo, and is slightly less pressed than the first type.
