Sudanese porridge is one of the most popular Sudanese dishes, and it has its own value in social occasions and parties. There are other countries such as Libya and Tunisia that serve porridge in the parties. The method of preparing porridge varies from one region to another; some countries prepare it from millet flour, and others from corn flour. Preparing Sudanese Porridge

🔹Two cups of corn flour.
🔹A cup of water.
🔹A teaspoon of salt.
💠Sudanese Porridge ingredients:
🔹Two cups of water.
🔹Half a teaspoon of salt.
🔹A quarter cup of cold water, and you can increase it as desired.
🔹Half a cup of corn oil.
💠Sauce:
🔹Half a kilogram of minced meat.
🔹Three medium-sized onions.
🔹A quarter cup of corn oil.
🔹A tablespoon of tomato sauce.
🔹Meat seasoning spices.
🔹Half a teaspoon of salt.
🔹Half a teaspoon of black pepper.
💠Preparation:
💎Fermented corn dough
🔹Put the corn flour with water in a bowl, then add a little wheat to it, so that the dough is cohesive.
🔹Put the dough in a bowl, cover it tightly and leave it overnight.
💎Sudanese Porridge:
🔹Put two cups of water and a little salt in a small pot, then put it on the fire and leave it until it boils.
🔹When the water starts to boil, add two cups of fermented corn paste, and continue stirring until the mixture becomes thicker.
🔹Add a quarter cup of cold water to the mixture and continue stirring. You can add more water as needed.
🔹Leave the mixture on the stove for at least five minutes until it is cooked. Make sure to do this by taking a spoon and stirring it, and inserting it into the dough. If nothing sticks to it, you are sure that the porridge is cooked.
🔹Place the porridge in the mold, grease it with a little oil, then pour it into it.
🔹Leave the dough in the mold aside until it cools, then put it in the refrigerator.
💠Sauce:
🔹Cut the potatoes into very thin slices.
🔹Put a little oil in a pot, then put the onion slices on it and fry them well until they wilt, add the meat and spices to it and continue stirring.
🔹Add an amount of water appropriate to the amount of the mixture, add the tomato paste to it, and leave it on the stove until it boils.
🔹After it boils, reduce the heat and leave it to cook on low heat.
🔹Take some of the oil that floats on the surface of the mixture, and leave it aside to use later.
🔹When it is fully cooked, turn the porridge into a serving dish, then pour the sauce around it, and cover the sauce with oil that you put aside.
🔹Serve it to eat.
