Date and dried fruit Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • Half a cup of dates.
  • Two and a half cups of flour.

  • Half a teaspoon of salt.

  • A teaspoon of vanilla.

  • Half a cup of powdered sugar.

  • Half a cup of dried fruits.

  • A cup of butter.

  • Half a cup of pistachios.

Preparation:

  • Put the salt, flour, dates and fruits in a bowl and mix well until the fruits are covered with flour.

  • Put the butter and sugar in a blender at medium speed until the mixture becomes creamy.

  • Add vanilla to the mixture and turn on the blender for a few seconds.

  • Pour the mixture into a bowl, add the flour and fruits to it and stir until you get a slightly crumbly dough.

  • Turn on the oven to a temperature of one hundred and eighty degrees Celsius.

  • Shape the dough into molds or as desired in a spaced manner after greasing the tray with ghee.

  • Bake the biscuits for eight to ten minutes until the color becomes light golden.

  • Leave the biscuits to cool, then add powdered sugar on top.

Jam-Stuffed Biscuits

Ingredients:

Filling ingredients:

  • One cup of apricot jam.

Dough ingredients:

  • A teaspoon of liquid vanilla.

  • Half a cup of fine sugar.

  • One cup of butter.

  • Three and a quarter cups of flour.

Preparation:

  • Put the butter in the mixer for two minutes, then add the sugar and vanilla and continue mixing until the mixture becomes light in color.

  • Add the flour and mix at a slow speed until a dough is formed.

  • Cut the dough into two equal parts, and put it in the refrigerator for a while until it solidifies.

  • Heat the oven to a temperature of one hundred and eighty degrees Celsius.

  • Remove the dough from the refrigerator until it softens a little before starting to roll it out.

  • Roll out the first dough using a rolling pin and cut it into shapes as desired.

  • Arrange the shapes in a tray after greasing it with ghee, then roll out the second dough in the same way and the same number.

  • Bake the biscuits for 10 to 12 minutes until golden, then leave to cool. Spread the jam on the biscuit, then place the toasted biscuit on top.

Caramel Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla.

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar.

  • 2 cups of flour.

  • 1 cup of ground walnuts.

  • 1 cup of butter.

Caramel filling ingredients:

  • A pinch of salt.

  • 1 cup of brown sugar.

  • 2 cups of powdered white sugar.

  • Half a teaspoon of vanilla.

  • Half a cup of butter.

  • Half a cup of milk.

Preparation:

  • Put the butter, sugar and vanilla in a blender until the mixture becomes creamy.

  • Put the mixture in a bowl, and add the flour and ground walnuts to it until the dough is formed.

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  • Spread the dough in a tray, and make a hole in the middle of each piece using the tip of a spoon.

  • Bake the biscuits for fifteen minutes until become golden.

  • Leave the biscuits to cool.

Caramel filling:

  • Melt the butter over the heat, then add the sugar and salt, and continue stirring for two minutes.

  • Add the milk and leave it to boil for two minutes.

  • Leave the caramel to cool, then add the sugar and vanilla, and continue stirring until the mixture is homogeneous.

  • Place the caramel filling in the middle of the ready biscuit pieces.

Almond Butter Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • A teaspoon of liquid vanilla.

  • A pinch of salt.

  • Half a cup of ground sugar.

  • Half a cup of chopped almonds.

  • One cup of butter.

  • A cup and three quarters of a cup of flour.

For decoration:

  • Liquid chocolate.

Preparation:

  • Mix the almonds, flour and salt until smooth, and set aside.

  • Put the butter, sugar and vanilla in an electric mixer on medium speed until the mixture becomes creamy.

  • Pour the mixture into a bowl, add the flour to it and stir until it becomes a cohesive dough.

  • Roll the dough into a spiral shape, and put it in the refrigerator for several hours.

  • Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius, then cut the dough into thin pieces, and place them on a baking tray.

  • Bake the biscuits for ten to twelve minutes until golden.

  • Leave the biscuits to cool, then decorate them with chocolate
