Salted Butter Cookies
đź’ Ingredients:
- A quarter cup of unsalted butter.
- A cup and a third of a cup of whole milk.
- Four cups of flour.
- Half a teaspoon of oregano.
- A tablespoon of baking powder.
- Salt for sprinkling.
- An egg.
đź’ Preparation:
- Mix the butter, flour, oregano and baking powder together.
- Cut the butter into the flour mixture to get coarse crumbs.
- Add the milk, and knead the ingredients to get a cohesive dough.
- Make the dough into a ball, then divide it into four parts.
- Spread the dough pieces on a floured table, so that they become very thin.
- Cut the dough into squares, or any other shape according to taste.
- Punch the biscuits with a fork, then place them on a biscuit baking tray (ungreased).
- Brush the biscuits with egg, then sprinkle with salt.
- Bake the biscuits in the oven for fifteen to twenty minutes, at a temperature of 325 degrees Fahrenheit, until they turn red.
Salted biscuits
đź’ Ingredients:
- Three quarters of a cup of milk.
- Two cups of flour.
- Seven tablespoons of iced butter.
- Two teaspoons of baking powder.
- A teaspoon of salt.
- A quarter teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate.
đź’ Preparation:
- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sodium bicarbonate together.
- Cut the butter, put it on top of the flour mixture, and stir in a food processor until the butter becomes like crumbs.
- Place the mixture on the table, and make a hole in the middle.
- Put the milk in the hole, then mix it with a spoon.
- Gather all the ingredients without kneading them, fold them four times, then spread them into a square with a thickness of two centimeters, and cut them into circles.
- Line a tray with silicone, and arrange the biscuit pieces in it.
- Press the pieces gently in the middle, then brush them with milk.
- Bake the biscuits in the oven for a quarter of an hour, at a temperature of 425 degrees Fahrenheit, until cooked.
Salted Herbal Biscuits
đź’ Ingredients:
- 200 grams of butter.
- A quarter cup of starch.
- Half a cup of each: Romano cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and black olives.
- A cup and a half of flour.
- Half a spoon of coarse salt for the face.
- A tablespoon of Italian herbs.
- Black pepper.
- Salt.
đź’ Preparation:
- Cut the tomatoes and olives into small pieces.
- Mix the flour and starch together.
- Beat the butter in the mixer, then add the black pepper and salt, and the flour and starch mixture on top, and beat the ingredients again to obtain a dough.
- Mix the dough by hand with the herbs, cheese, tomatoes, and olives.
- Shape the dough into a cylinder, then wrap it in a piece of nylon paper, and put it in the refrigerator until it solidifies.
- Cut the dough into rings, and bake it in the oven until cooked.
- Place the biscuits in a serving dish, and sprinkle coarse salt on top.
Salted Bean Biscuits

- A cup of each: Parmesan cheese, butter, and flour.
- Three-quarters of a cup of bean flour.
- A quarter cup of yogurt.
- A quarter cup of parsley.
- A clove of minced garlic.
- A tablespoon of minced rosemary.
- Two teaspoons of baking powder.
- Half a teaspoon of salt.

- Mix the flour, bean flour, butter, baking powder, and salt in a food processor to obtain a sandy mixture.
- Add the cheese, parsley, garlic, and rosemary, and run the processor again.
- Add the yogurt, and mix the ingredients well to obtain a cohesive dough.
- Ramp the dough to a thickness of five centimeters, then cut it into circles.
- Bake the biscuits in the oven for twenty-five minutes, at a temperature of one hundred and seventy degrees Celsius until cooked.
Salted biscuits with olives and thyme

- Half a cup of chopped black olives.
- Three quarters of a cup of corn oil.
- A cup of grated cheese.
- Two cups of flour.
- A tablespoon of chopped thyme.
- Water.
- Pepper.
- Salt.
đź’ Preparation:
- Mix the flour, olives, thyme, and cheese together.
- Add oil, pepper, and salt, and stir the ingredients well.
- Add a little water, and stir to obtain a dough.
- Prepare the baking tray, and line it with a piece of parchment paper.
- Shape the biscuits as desired, and place them in the tray.
- Bake the biscuits in the oven at a temperature of one hundred and eighty degrees Celsius until cooked.
Crunchy salted biscuits

- Half a teaspoon of cumin seeds.
- Half a teaspoon of baking powder.
- A pinch of salt.

- Mix flour, cumin, baking powder and salt together.
- Add milk and ghee, and mix the ingredients together to get a dough.
- Shape the biscuits into the desired shape, and pierce them with a fork.
- Prepare the baking tray, line it with a piece of butter paper, and place the biscuits in it.
- Bake the biscuits in the oven until cooked.
