💠Introduction


  Bread is the essential food for the Arab, European and Indian peoples of the earth; It has great importance that in some countries it is called a living to indicate that it is the basis of human life, and with it he lives and continues. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was the bread, and bread was mentioned in the Holy Qur’an once. "I see myself (in a dream) carrying bread on my head, and birds are eating, thereof." [Surat Yusuf: 36]. There are Arabic bread, French bread, Indian bread and others, and each of them has types that are included under its menu, and bread is usually made of wheat, corn or barley.

💠Prata Bread


  Prata bread is a type of Indian bread, and it is one of the most delicious and popular breads, and it comes in the form of pancakes or pastries, and is served with basic meals such as fish and chicken, cooked with curry. It is also possible to find someone who serves this bread with sugary foods such as honey and cream with honey, jam or sugar.


💠How to make the Prata

💠Ingredients


🔹A cup and a half of white flour.

🔹Half a cup of brown flour (bran flour).

🔹Quarter cup of vegetable oil.

🔹Half a teaspoon of baking powder.

🔹A little salt.

🔹Vegetable ghee.

🔹Water as needed.

💠Preparation:

🔹Get a deep bowl and add all the ingredients, and start adding water until the dough sticks and does not stick to the tips of the fingers or the edges of the bowl.

🔹Leave the dough to ferment for at least an hour, or as you may see it suitable for your dough.

🔹After completely fermenting the dough, divide the amount of dough that you have into small balls, brush each ball with a quantity of vegetable ghee, and leave it for about a third of an hour until the dough rests.

🔹Take a ball of dough and roll it out using a rolling pin into a thin layer, then fold it in a tube shape to become a roll; start rolling the roll in a spiral shape, taking care to put vegetable ghee between the folds of the rolled dough

🔹Repeat this step with all your dough balls.

🔹After you have finished making the spiral shapes with the whole dough, cover with nylon and leave some time for the dough to rest.

🔹After a quarter of an hour at most, take a frying pan to start preparing the prata bread without oil and put it on the fire until it gets hot.

🔹Take a piece of dough, spread it a little by hand, put it in the pan and stir the piece until it is done.

🔹Repeat the last step for the rest of the pieces
